Palm Beach Atlantic is a comprehensive Christian university with an enrollment of more than 3,200. Founded by leaders of Baptist churches, PBA provides a quality education with a Christian emphasis for students of all faiths. Domestic and international student missions efforts are a major focus for the Office of Campus Ministries. Traditional undergraduates are required to spend approximately 45 hours annually doing community service. Workship is a unique program that links service to learning and work to worship.

• Accreditation: The following agencies grant accreditation to Palm Beach Atlantic University’s academic programs: the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Athletic Training (JRC-AT), the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Additionally, the Florida Board of Education provides approval for teacher education programs and the Florida Board of Nursing has granted provisional approval for the nursing program.
