Truett-McConnell College is Southern Baptists’ newest senior college, offering bachelor’s degrees in the following areas: music, church music, Christian studies, humanities, interdisciplinary studies, history and early childhood education, as well as associate’s degrees in arts, Christian studies, education, science, business, music and general studies. Founded in 1946 with a residential campus in Cleveland, Georgia, the college is named for Southern Baptist ministers, George W. Truett and Fernando C. McConnell. The college's mission is to equip students to make a positive impact for Christ through disciplined scholarship and Christian discipleship. The college is committed to preparing students for life by providing academic preparation while strengthening their faith in God.
