Georgetownn College, a Christian, liberal arts college, combines its Baptist tradition, quality academic programs and freedom of inquiry to encourage students to live, learn and believe with balance and respect as global citizens. Georgetown is recognized for a superb faculty (more than 90 percent of whom hold doctorate degrees). The average class size at Georgetown is 15 students. No class exceeds 40 students, and the greater percentages of classes have fewer than 30 students each. The student body is composed of students from 25 states, Washington, D.C. and 12 foreign countries. Approximately 92 percent of students live on-campus in 15 residence halls and apartment-style units, all equipped with high-speed Internet connectivity, voice mail and cable.
