The primary aim of Virginia Intermont College is to create an environment for learning in which each student according to his or her unique pattern of interests, abilities, ambitions, plans and talents may find opportunities for intellectual stimulation, religious expression and spiritual growth, aesthetic experience, social development and physical improvement. While meeting the challenge of the four-year coeducational institution’s ambitious liberal arts-based core requirements, students may choose from a variety of unique and traditional major programs.
