Brief Position Description: Shorter University, a Christ-centered liberal arts University in Rome, Georgia is seeking an experienced administrator to serve as Athletic Director. The Director provides strategic leadership and oversight for the University’s athletics program consisting of 20 men’s and women’s sports. Shorter University is a member of the NCAA (Division II), and Conference Carolinas.
Applicants must have a Bachelors (Masters preferred) degree and at least 5-10 years’ experience in athletic administration and fundraising at the collegiate level. Knowledge of, and experience with NCAA regulations and processes is also required.
