Brief Position Description: Brief Position Description: Shorter University, a NCAA Division II institution which competes in Conference Carolinas, is currently accepting applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant to the Men’s Basketball team. Shorter University is located in beautiful Rome, GA approximately 70 miles northwest of Atlanta.

This position will be responsible for assisting the Head and Assistant Men’s Basketball Coaches with sport specific coaching, traveling with the team, equipment inventory control, game preparation, practices, strength & conditioning programs, and all other duties as assigned by the Head or Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. All activities shall be conducted within the policies and resource framework of the University, the Athletics Department, Conference Carolinas, and the NCAA.
