Assistant/Associate Professor and Coordinator of Collaborative Piano Program, Tenure-Track
Brief Position Description: The Baylor School of Music is seeking an experienced artist teacher to lead its Collaborative Piano Program. The successful candidate will teach, develop, and coordinate all aspects of the Collaborative Piano Program, and will contribute meaningfully within the collaborative piano field, both nationally and internationally. This full-time, tenure-track appointment will begin August 2026.
About the Keyboard Division and Collaborative Piano Program:
For more than three quarters of a century, Baylor University has been a center of advanced study for pianists and organists. With seven full-time, resident faculty members, the Baylor keyboard division boasts a strong tradition of successful alumni with an impressive record of professional accomplishments. Additionally, three collaborative pianist faculty serve the vocal division while two collaborative pianist faculty serve the instrumental division. Between 40 and 45 undergraduate students are currently pursuing degrees in keyboard performance, pedagogy, music education, or church music, and 10-15 graduate students are working to earn degrees in performance, collaborative piano, or piano performance and pedagogy.
