Assistant/Associate Professor for Master of Science and Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program, Academic Fieldwork Coordinator
Brief Position Description: The University of Mary Hardin Baylor seeks qualified faculty for its Master of Science and Occupational Therapy Doctorate program, beginning late July of 2025. This is a year-round (12-month) full-time, tenure or clinical track position with initial appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience. This faculty member will be responsible for advising and teaching graduate students throughout the curriculum, to include advisement of capstone experiences and student teaching in the Cru Community Clinic.This position includes teaching graduate courses in occupational therapy at a reduced workload; ongoing curricular and course revision and development; advising and mentoring occupational therapy students; and participating in departmental and university committees.
In addition, the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the fieldwork component of the curriculum (FW I A/B and FWIIA/B), to include
• Ensuring compliance with fieldwork requirements of ACOTE Standards Section C.1.0, including establishing and maintaining contracts with fieldwork sites for student field placement
• Supporting students before, during and after fieldwork experiences
• Evaluation of students in the fieldwork setting
