Instructor of English

Brief Position Description: The English Department at North Greenville University invites applicants for the position of Instructor of English, preferably beginning August 2026. Candidates applying for this position must hold a Master’s Degree in English.

Instructors at NGU work primarily within the university’s Core curriculum to teach freshman writing courses (Composition and Rhetoric, Composition and Literature) and sophomore literature courses (Multicultural Literature and surveys of British and/or American literature). The successful candidate must be able to teach both writing and literature and should show interest in cultivating strong relationships with freshman and sophomore students.
