The Department of Biology in the J. D. Patterson School of Natural Sciences at Ouachita Baptist University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track microbiology faculty position. The anticipated start date for this opportunity is August 1, 2026. The candidate’s primary teaching load will include teaching allied health and majors’ microbiology courses and the SEA-PHAGES bacteriophage discovery lab. The candidate will also provide undergraduate academic advising, supervise undergraduate research capstone and honors projects, and contribute to the overall academic environment of the department and the university.
