Dean of Education and Human Sciences

Brief Position Description:
Mississippi College seeks an accomplished academic leader to serve as Dean of the School of Education and Human Sciences. Reporting to the Provost, the Dean provides strategic leadership for programs in counseling, kinesiology, psychology, social work, and teacher education and leadership. Responsibilities include advancing academic excellence, fostering faculty development, ensuring accreditation compliance, promoting student success, managing budgets, and building partnerships with schools, agencies, and the community. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field, have at least five years of higher education experience with teaching and program development, and two years of academic leadership. A strong record of scholarship and commitment to MC’s Christian mission are essential.
