Assistant or Associate Professor of Chemistry/Biochemistry (Tenure Track)

Brief Position Description: The candidate’s primary teaching load will include teaching biochemistry, chemistry and non-major science courses. The candidate will also provide undergraduate academic advising, supervise undergraduate research and honors projects, and contribute to the overall academic environment of the department and the university. A successful candidate will exhibit excellent teaching in the context of a liberal arts education and scholarly activity in the field while demonstrating aptitude and inclination for engaging undergraduates in mentored research. Preference will be given to candidates with classroom teaching experience, but candidates with professional clinical experience will also be considered.
