Brief Position Description: The Department of Physics and Engineering in the J. D. Patterson School of Natural Sciences at Ouachita Baptist University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Engineering. Position to begin August 2027. The successful candidate will display evidence of successful classroom teaching, scholarship and/or qualified professional experience; a collegial commitment to professional, university, departmental, and community service; and a strong Christian commitment consistent with biblical standards and the University’s vision, mission, and values as a liberal arts institution. Primary responsibilities will include teaching a wide range of general engineering and civil engineering courses as part of Ouachita’s new ABET accredited engineering program.
