Professor of Engineering (Tenure Track)

Brief Position Description: Primary responsibilities will include teaching a wide range of general engineering and civil engineering courses as part of Ouachita’s new ABET accredited engineering program. Formal notification of ABET accreditation status was announced in August of 2026. Additional opportunities exist for on and off campus engagements, such as research or professional development. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications. All qualified candidates will be considered, but preference will be given to those who have a PhD in civil engineering or a Professional Engineering license and experience in the field.
